He added that even Kim Jong-un himself might feel psychological pressure seeing his own image behind bars, which could serve as an effective deterrent against future anti-humanitarian actions. Jeseok Yi, the creative director behind the ad design, explained that the campaign embodies the earnest yearning of 25 million North Korean residents to escape the prison of human rights oppression. He expressed hope that North Korean society would embrace the spirit of democratization that South Korea fought for, ending a fake democracy that profits only one individual, and ultimately achieving true democracy—where people secure their own freedom and elect leaders without foreign intervention. Maria Chelnozhukova, a Ukrainian broadcaster participating in the campaign, strongly condemned North Korea's recent troop deployment to the Russia-Ukraine war as an outright war crime that threatens to trigger World War III.
